A THAMESDOWN Transport bus was damaged in Hungerford this morning.
At around 7.45am, a lorry is believed to have caused scaffolding to fall on the north side of Charnham Street.
It fell onto the bus, but fortunately nobody was hurt.
Resident Jonathan Player told the Newbury News: “It seems the bus was coming round the corner and the lorry swung out to avoid it, clipping the scaffolding.”
Fire engines from Newbury and Reading attended, as well as police officers.
