TRAFFIC queued for 12 miles between Junction 11 for Reading and Junction 10 for Wokingham on the M4 London-bound because of an crash involving one car this morning.
Congestion was reported as far as Junction 12 for Theale.

- All lanes are now open and traffic conditions have returned to normal more quickly than Highways England was expecting earlier.
Meanwhile drivers heading west on the M4 this morning were being warned to expect details between Junction 12 for Theale and Junction 13 for Chieveley because of a earlier car fire.
One lane was closed. All lanes have now been re-opened but traffic was still being delayed after 8.30am.
