A MAN accused of causing the death of a 97-year-old woman by dangerous driving is to face a judge at Swindon Crown Court.
Abdurahman Nur, 28, of Cheltenham Place, London, is alleged to have caused the death of Marion Armstrong in a crash on the M4 eastbound carriage way on July 26 last year.
Mrs Armstrong was the passenger in an Audi that was in collision with his Vauxhall Zafira near Membury services. Nur appeared at Swindon Magistrates' Court yesterday and was granted bail.
The M4 was closed for six hours after the crash while an investigation was carried out by police.
