Police are looking to identify people in connection to allegations of an ‘illegal fox hunt’ in Wiltshire.

This comes after ITV News published a video appearing to show illegal fox hunting in the South West county.

The footage shows people, alleged to be members of the Avon Vale Hunt, dig up a wild den in the countryside and retrieve a fox from it for their hounds to chase after.

The humans then turn away towards their barking pets, who are preparing to set upon the helpless animal.

Another fox then runs out of the ground and makes its escape across the grass.

Wiltshire Police have since announced they are actively investigating the video and are appealing for information in relation to an incident relating to alleged wildlife offences.

Investigators would like to hear from anyone able to identify those in a video.
