A big-name coffee chain has made its move into a bigger unit at the Swindon Designer Outlet.

Costa Coffee had two serving and seating areas in the middle of the public concourse near the west and north entrances of the building.

Hoardings covering unit five on the Western side of the Outlet were spotted in September, next to clothing company Guess and directly facing the small ‘outside’ seating section.

Now one month on and Costa Coffee has moved into the vacant unit, allowing for even more seating to be available to visitors who wish to grab a coffee break from shopping.

Signs had been left around Costa’s new location which said, “something exciting is stirring” and that “we’re brewing something new”.

This unit had been empty for several weeks prior to the hoardings being added and previously housed a gifts and accessories shop.

This latest change to the Outlet's layout follows on from the opening of several clothes shops including surfwear brand Saltrock and second-hand luxury fashion retailer Sign of the Times.

Camping and outdoor clothing store Trespass is also set to join the building’s ranks after the company’s blue branding was spotted at Converse’s former unit.
