Paul Lydon, 'Prospect Paul', died on Monday 13th April, aged 56.
Since he started writing his blog, Paul made many friends and admirers through the honest, thoughtful, yet often funny way in which he described his journey with cancer, and his love for his wife Jackie and their sons. Although he was sometimes too tired to complete a weekly blog entry, he enjoyed writing about his experience, and was always thrilled when people added their own encouraging comments to the blog.
At Prospect Hospice, we were always very appreciative of Paul's willingness to write so candidly about his experiences, and the support he valued so much from the team at the Hospice. With Paul's dying, those of us who knew him feel the loss of a good friend.
Paul's funeral will be at the Kingsdown Crematorium at 1.30pm on Friday 24th April, and all who knew him are welcome.
Our thoughts are with Jackie, Craig and Lee at this sad time.
