DAVE Webb admits that Swindon Supermarine have a herculean task on their hands to make the third qualifying round of the FA Cup after drawing former cup heroes Havant & Waterlooville.

Marine have been handed a second qualifying round trip to the Conference South Hawks, who famously took a 2-0 lead against Premier League giants Liverpool at Anfield in January 2008 before going on lose 5-2 in the fourth round of the country’s most famous cup competition, on September 27.

“Chippenham got Ardley (United) at home and you look at that as the draw you would have wanted but everyone will have their eye on this game now,” said the Webb’s Wood manager.

“We’re going to be playing against a side fifth in the Conference South, packed with talent and experience and Lee Bradbury as their manager.

“Make no bones about it, we’re going to prepare to try and win the game and go down there with no fear. It’s a fantastic opportunity and I’m looking forward to it.”

Tonight Cirencester Town go looking to book a home second qualifying round tie with Oxford City as they take on Shortwood United at the Corinium Stadium in a first qualifying round replay tonight following the two side’s 1-1 draw last weekend.

Meanwhile, Highworth Town go looking to stretch their unbeaten run in the Hellenic League Premier Division to five matches as they make the trip to Berkshire to take on Holyport.
