TROY Batchelor registered another six points but missed out on the latter stages as Britain's World Championship leader Tai Woffinden completed a hat-trick of Czech Grand Prix wins in Prague last night.

2013 world champion Woffinden topped the Marketa Stadium rostrum for a third season in succession after beating Polish international duo Jaroslaw Hampel and Maciej Janowski and triple world champion Nicki Pedersen in the final.

Batchelor's best two results came in his opening two rides as he finished behind compatriot Chris Holder and world champion Greg Hancock in heats one and five respectively.

Bt the Swindon Robins skipper trailed in last in heat nine before losing out to Pole Krzysztof Kasprzak in a battle for second in a rerun heat 13 and then Woffinden edged Batchelor for second in heat 17

The British rider is six points clear of Pedersen at the top of the overall standings, with the SGP series takes a break until the British Grand Prix in six weeks with the Speedway World Cup taking centre stage.
