SWINDON Town target Alfie Mawson has completed his move to League One rivals Barnsley.
The 21-year-old central defender, who was a free agent after choosing not to sign a new contract at Brentford, was understood to have held discussions at the County Ground with a view to a move to Wiltshire earlier this month.
But Mawson, who helped Wycombe Wanderers reach the League Two play-off final last season during a loan spell at Adams Park, has plumped for Lee Johnson’s Barnsley, signing a three-year contract at Oakwell.
