ADVER Sport's Tom Bassam's ratings from Swindon Town's 1-0 defeat to Blackpool.

Lawrence Vigouroux

Made a couple of excellent saves but appeared to be wrong-footed for the goal and nearly gifted Blackpool another when slipping whilst trying to turn a striker. 6

Bradley Barry

Started well and joined in with attacks in the first half. Osayi-Samuel had his number after the break and the young full-back was caught out of position too often. 5

Raphael Branco

Did not organise the defensive unit for the Tangerines' goal and Town looked vulnerable from set-pieces all game. 5

Jordan Turnbull

Defended well enough and brought the ball out when required. 6

James Brophy

The youngster is really growing into life as professional footballer and impressed as an attacking force with decent technique and inventive passing. Booked for diving. 7

Louis Thompson

Town's best player, he was determined to drive his side forward and repeatedly turned the ball over in the opposition half. 8

Yaser Kasim

Petulant when losing the ball, Kasim, as ever, looked classy when in possession but looks uniterested in doing the other side of the game. 5

Fabien Robert

One nice early drive forward and shot, but his contribution to the afternoon was limited by injury. 6

Henrik Ojamaa

Improving as he gets fitter. Beat his man a couple of times still lacking end product. 6

Nicky Ajose

Made some nice runs but his teammates could not pick them out. Moved to the left as Town chased the game to little effect. 6

Jonathan Obika

Offered the most cohesive threat but checking back on to his left slowed down a lot of attacking impetus. 6

Subs

Jermaine Hylton (on for Robert, 21, booked)

His unorthodox style was fairly successful in the second half, but he could not get enough shots off. 6

Jeremy Balmy (on for Ojamaa, 67, booked)

A couple of bright moments suggest he has something to offer. 7
