SWINDON Town Development romped to a 21-0 success over Market Lavington and Easterton in Wiltshire County Women’s and Girls’ League Open Age Division.

Amy Jolliffe lead the way with a double hat-trick, Amy Cotterell and Steph Houston bagged five apiece, Sylvannah Winston struck twice, while Amy Bains, Francesca Jenkins and Alex Gibson were also on target.

Swindon Spitfires United’s match at Highworth Town was abandoned due to an injury to one of the hosts’ players.

Spitfires were leading 4-0 when the game was called to a halt midway through the second half with Morgan Whitaker, Claire Moreton and Carla Compton (2) on target.

Spitfires Development side put in a brave performance but were unable to prevent second-placed Melksham Town returning home with a 3-1 victory.

The hosts took the lead when a Victoria Parry corner was turned home by a Melksham player with only seven minutes on the clock.

However, the visitors responded within two minutes and took the lead with a fine lofted effort on 28 minutes.

Hayley Shipp went close for Spitfires after the break, while Natasha Zebroski had a goal ruled out for offside.

However, the visitors killed off Spitfires' hopes with a late third.

Spitfires’ Under 17s won a 10-goal thriller 6-4 against FC Chippenham.

Swindon Spitfires Under 14s, playing their first game in six weeks, eased to a 10-1 win at Harwell and Hendred in the Oxford Mail Girls League.

Chloe Neate put the visitors into the lead after converting Jasmin Hindon’s cross before Aimee Prinzi added a second after latching on to Sian Barber’s clearance.

Shannon Whitely added the third on 25 minutes before Hindon volleyed home Neate’s corner for goal number four.

The hosts pulled a goal back through Lauren Wood only for Prinzi to net her second to send Spitfires in at the break 5-1 up.

Prinzi completed her hat-trick after the break before Genevieve Bayliss added the seventh.

Amelia Sharp, Hindon and Courtney Gleed combined to play in Prinzi for her fourth of the day to make it 8-1.

A Bayliss header made it nine before Prinzi completed the rout with her fifth of the match.
