SWINDON Supermarine J made it 10 league wins on the bounce with a hard-fought 2-0 win over Highworth Town T in Under 12 Division One.

The first half started off as a fairly tight affair and the first real chance fell to Max Townsend, who saw his free-kick sail over the bar.

Josh Godwin saw a shot saved and Harry Johnson fired wide.

Marine went ahead midway through the first half when Townsend ghosted in to head home from a long Godwin throw.

Marine stepped up a gear in the second half and the first chance fell to Legg but he saw his shot go wide.

The home side were two goals to the good when Legg was upended in the penalty area and Josh Hall converted the spot kick as a tight defence, marshalled by man of the match Harley-Shaun Platt, maintained their clean sheet.
