WILTSHIRE have named their side for their opening White Rose Trophy match with Warwickshire.

The county will begin their quest for glory in the junior inter-counties men’s U25 double rink championship at Royal Wootton Bassett tomorrow (2pm start).

Wiltshire (v Warwickshire U25 at Royal Wootton Bassett): Rink 1: Tom Warner (Amesbury), Craig Morphet, Gary Jackson (both Westlecot) & Nick Revell (Amesbury). Rink 2: Adam Bolwell (Winsley), Mike Titcombe, Craig Hatherall (both Westlecot) & Kyle Anderson (Royal Wootton Bassett). Res: Ben Choules, James Richman ( both Highworth), Chris Poole (Holt), Jamie Shadwell (Spencer Moulton).

Meanwhile, Royal Wootton Bassett’s green will host the county’s final Middleton Cup trial.

In recent seasons, Wiltshire have featured prominently in the inter-county men’s championship, winning their West group for the past five years and qualifying for the quarter-finals.

Team manager Dave Snell has invited back all the players who played last Sunday at Bassett in the first trial, as well as Nick Revell, Wayne Snook, Ben Gadd, Craig Doughty, Wayne Simmonds, Mel Biggs, Mike Jackson, Graham Hatherall, Graham Shadwell, Andy Colebrooke, Russell Francis and Snell himself.
