SWINDON Robins skipper Jason Doyle has been released from hospital following an accident in Poland.
Riding for Polish side Falubaz Zielona Gora against Stal Gorzow, Doyle suffered a hard fall and was taken to hospital in an ambulance.
The incident happened in the first bend of heat 12, according to reports in Poland, when his front wheel made contact with the bike of Niels Kristian Iversen in front of him.
Scans at the Centre for Sports Medicine ‘Olympus’ have revealed that the Australian has not suffered any fractures but has twisted his ankle.
Doyle, who suffered a broken back during a fall at his home Grand Prix in Melbourne last year, took to social media to announce that he was released from hospital this morning and has thanked everyone for their support.
WOW Thank you everyone for the support! I have been released from hospital and have no broken bones. Someone is looking out for me! 👊

Meanwhile, the speedway community are keeping a close eye on Polish rider Krystian Rempala in a critical condition after a first-heat crash has left him needing brain surgery.
Rempala was involved in a crash in the first bend of heat one of the Polish Estraliga match between Tarnow and Rybnik.
The Polish youngster was collected by Rybnik rider Kacper Woryna at the back of the field with the impact of the crash ripping the helmet off Rempala as he made contact with the ground.
Rempala was airlifted to hospital where he underwent surgery to treat reported swelling and bleeding on his brain, with the meeting abandoned.
Speedway riders across the world have sent messages of support for Rempala, wishing him a full and speedy recovery.
Meeting in rybnik was cancelled after 1 heat today. My thoughts and prayers are with krystian Rempala, his family and his team.
