PURTON FC’s Under 7s team have joined the Pro Red scheme, launched by TrustSTFC.

The side, managed by Tajinder Samra, have signed up to the initiative which enables parents of Wiltshire-based schoolchildren and youth footballers to buy reduced-price tickets for Town’s home matches in 2016-17, encouraging more families to attend the County Ground.

Additionally, the club or school the parents are associated with will receive cashback based on the tickets sold through the process.

Samra said: “We’re delighted to give our backing to the Pro Red scheme, we want our players to grow up watching Town and will promote that to the parents throughout the season.”

Trust chair Steve Mytton added: “There are 5,000 young footballers in the North Wilts League and many more at school in the region who have yet to get the Town bug.

“We believe that, with a gentle introduction, they can become the voice of the club for many years to come.’’ To find out more details or to register your family, visit www.pro-red.co.uk.
