Fair Game have published their independent review of Swindon Town’s accounts giving fans a look at the club’s financial position.

Goal Assist, a group working to help sporting organisations become more sustainable and efficient, produced the report in partnership with Fair Game aimed at giving a clearer picture of Swindon’s accounts to fans and have now published that report for fans to read.

The report looked at the club’s financial year that ended on May 31 2023, in which Town made a profit of £76,481, thanks largely to the funds from the Nigel Eady Trust that were used to purchase the County Ground in the joint venture alongside Trust STFC, without this there would have been a £1,073,519 loss.

Owner Clem Morfuni previously revealed that Swindon had become the first football club to work with Fair Game to produce an independent financial report.

Fair Game said in March that they had been provided with additional information to the published accounts with which to work with in producing this report.

Swindon became one of over 30 clubs to partner with Fair Game in June 2023 to support their mission to change the governance of football and create long-term solutions to the issues in the sport.
