An open air cinema is coming to Swindon this summer.
Adventure Cinema is bringing the big screen to Swindon Cricket Club.
Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or a camping chair and enjoy watching movie magic unfold under the stars. There will be hot food, snacks, and a bar on-site, and picnics are welcome.
Each outdoor screening will have a specially-curated soundtrack of music playing before the film starts.
First, on June 1, Tom Cruise feels the need for speed as he takes to the skies for Top Gun: Maverick.
The sequel to the '80s action movie sees him train a new batch of recruits, which includes the son of his old co-pilot Goose, for a dangerous mission overseas.
Next, on June 2, Austin Butler steps into the shoes of The King of Rock and Roll and gives an acclaimed performance as Elvis.
Baz Luhrmann's latest depicts the iconic megastar's rise to fame and his conflicts with manipulative manager Colonel Parker, played by Tom Hanks.
Then, Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey begin a passionate love affair over the course of one memorable summer in the 1980s in Dirty Dancing.
Each evening, the gates open at 8.15pm and the film starts at 9.45pm.
